Montessori principles in design
The Montessori approach holds that children learn by acting independently. Our furniture is designed to support that independence.

Low beds
A Montessori bed is positioned close to the floor, so a child can get in and out without assistance. Waking up and going to bed become independent routines.

Low beds with a guard rail
Close to the floor, with open access on one side.

House beds
A roofed frame that defines the child’s own space.

Themed models
The same principle in the style of each collection.
Wardrobes within reach
In the Minia Montessori wardrobe, clothes hang at child height, which allows children to choose their own clothes each day.

Open, organised storage
Open shelves show where each item belongs, so children can tidy up independently. Low dressers with round, easy-grip handles can be opened without assistance.

Minia: a complete Montessori room
Minia was developed as a complete Montessori room suitable from a very early age, with a low bed, a wardrobe within reach, a toy cabinet, a play table and a stool.

Play furniture
Minimoon is a soft play arch made of separate pieces that can be climbed, stacked and used as seating.
