Caploonba is the room brand of Orpak, a furniture maker in İzmir, Türkiye. We design, cut, paint, assemble and pack every piece ourselves, under one roof, with energy from the sun.

All the energy we use in production comes from the sun. For the wood we use, we plant trees. And we build furniture to stay in use for a long time.

A room is where they sleep, play and breathe for years. So we start with what the furniture is made of.

E1 certified board

Bodies are built from 18 mm, first-quality particleboard certified E1 for low formaldehyde emission. The air in the room stays clean.

Colour without solvents

Coloured surfaces are finished with COOLOR, our own solvent-free powder coating. Smooth to the touch and easy to wipe clean.

Kind to skin

Upholstered headboards use antibacterial, anti-allergic fabric that wipes clean.

No sharp corners

Rounded corners and oval lines reduce the risk of bumps. Soft-close doors and drawers protect small fingers.

Montessori teaches that children learn by doing things for themselves. We design that into the furniture: low beds, wardrobes they can reach, storage they can see.
